My little Briellie-belle!

Brielle is in the "I take everything literal" stage. I find myself constantly telling her thing things like: you're cute, you're funny, you're silly, etc.... I hear the same reply every single time. "No, I not (blank) I Bli-lelle...that's why" (with lots of voice inflections) I'm not joking, I probably heard it 30 times today. But, I think it's really cute! I love the way she says her name. Blilelle. She makes me laugh. We went to the orthopedic today and she has 2 more weeks of this horrid purple thing left, but everything looks good which I was REALLY worried about because she now walks everywhere on that thing. Don't ask me how since the cast is up her thigh - but I guess she is determined to get around. When she first figured out that she could walk/hobble on her cast she knew we didn't like her doing it and if we caught a glimpse of her she would just look at us cute and say "I saw-ee mommy" and then keep on truckin. I tried to talk the doctor into putting a lower cast on her but he said no, then I tried to convince him to at least take it off before Easter but he said no again. Darn it. She doesn't seem to mind her cast at all, but watching her walk on it makes me nervous that she's gonna trip and break something else or the doctor said walking on it could give her some hip problems - wonderful - how do you tell a 2 year old that knows she walk can walk to stop walking? Only two more weeks.....
