I wasn't feeling totally up for throwing Brooklyn a big party this year...so I didn't. I did let her invite her cousins over for a sleepover on Friday though - I know, I am such a good mom. Mike said he would be in charge that night and he did great! They roasted marshmallows and ate chocolate in the backyard, they ran around shrieking and playing, they opened presents, ate homemade Ice Cream, watched Madagascar 2, slept in a fort in the living room - which they thought was the coolest thing ever! Ate waffles w/sprinkles for breakfast, played and shrieked a little more...then left. Brooklyn loved it and felt special on her birthday without me having to go crazy planning something while I "technically" am still not even allowed to drive yet.

Saturday, we had our family come over for some cake, ice cream and some more celebrating! Don't you just love Birthday's?
