The staples are O-U-T
I had the staples taken out today...and am slowly trying to recover. I was hoping I would be healing much faster than I am but I guess these things take time. I still feel loopy from the pain meds I'm on so it has been SO nice to have help, and offers for help (I may be taking some of you up on those), meals and phone calls. I'd be dying without it all! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I am totally perturbed by those who electively have c-sections now (you all are crazy) it's not a fun thing to go through...and trust me - I had a fourth degree tear having Brooklyn and the nurses said I was "equal" to a c-section. Not really. Having your stomach cut open is still worse. I have much more empathy for those that have gone through them now and realize how much recovery is involved. To all you c-sectioners, don't worry...next time I got your back!

I totally agree. My C-section was aweful and they did have to cut through the muscles... I NEVER want to experience that again! And I will forever have this aweful scar. If you get pregnant again will you have to have a C-section?

You are so cute! Thanks for talking to me today. I'm sorry I was so distracted when you called. I will help you arrange a frozen dinner group. I had my ultrasound tonight and it's a boy! He looks perfectly healthy and totally normal. Hope you get feeling better. Oh, save some of your pain meds for when you've healed for recreational reasons! :)
