Melt My Heart...Plus A Little More!

Brielle is teething big time right now. Four molars all at once which doesn't exactly make her the happiest camper around our house these days. Sunday morning she woke up and was walking sort of aimlessly around the house repeating "oweeoweeoweeowee" Brooklyn walked over to her and said "Come here sweetheart it's okay, I'll hold you, and rock you, and sing to you - and then you'll feel ALL better." Brielle put her arms up to Brooklyn for her to hold her and Brooklyn sat down on the couch with her and started singing "ahahah...ahahah...ahahaha" (Ariel from the Little Mermaid in case you couldn't catch on) literally - my heart melted. They sat there for a good 2-3 minutes until Brielle felt like she was better and then they got up and started playing again. It was one of those parent moments where you really remember why being a Mom is the best thing in the world.
On to other things that melt (rather quickly - a little too quickly these days for my liking). These girls have had plenty of these lately. The heat mixed with the whole teething thing makes them a hot commodity lately.

Preschool "Promotion"

You would think she was some scared introvert from this picture. She told me on the way to Preschool that day that she wasn't going to be able to sing in front of everybody because she was just so nervous and shy. Brooklyn? Shy? Nervous? Didn't sound right...but apparantly it was the case at that moment. Mike was a little mad because all the Dads ended up coming to the "graduation" when I told him not to. Oh well...I figured the year it would be worth coming would be the year that she actually "graduates" from Preschool right? I was saving him the Groundhog day effect considering that she still has 2 more years of Preschool to go.
This is Brooklyn and Brianna. She is Brooklyn's best friend from Preschool. The teachers always have some crazy story at the end of the day about what these girls had up their sleeves that day in class. They have told me that they are the funniest combo of kids that they have ever had in a class. I haven't decided if that was a good thing or not. Hmmmm....

Prom , Swimming, Engagement, New Car

Mike's Sister went to Prom this past weekend. Brooklyn loved every minute of it - including getting her hair curled just like her Aunt Courtney, getting her makeup done, and yes...refusing to get out of the Prom group pictures with everyone. Hopefully they can just crop her out, right?
I couldn't help but post these little naked girls. We went swimming and had so much fun with Tanner and Kate. By the way...Kate and Brielle are only 3 months apart in age. It looks like Brielle is a little slow when it comes to the hair growth area. That's okay though, I just get to torture her a little longer with big bows across her forehead. Poor Brielle :)
My brother just got engaged...and this is the beautiful woman of choice. Her name is Rachael but she goes by Keka. She is from Brazil (yes, my brother did go there on his mission and no, they didn't meet on his mission). She is really sweet. We may even like her more that Michael (my brother). Congratulations you guys!
Last, but not least. We have a new car!!!! Wha-hoo. I am so excited to have something BIGGER. I know with gas prices through the roof it will be a mouthful, but none the less, I am still excited. I can have room for groceries now. Who knew that would be so exciting? By the way, for all you white beauty fans...she is sold (phew).

White Beauty For Sale

Ok, so I know that this is a little bit of a stretch to put this up on our blog, but why not? I figured that maybe, just maybe, someone knew someone out there that was looking for a car and that this would be the perfect one! Could be wishful thinking, I don't know. I won't go all out on the details as to not bore anyone but here are just a few:

It's a 2000 Ford Convertible Mustang with 82K miles, we just had it detailed in and out - I've had it since it was brand new, no accidents, never had any problems...it's been a great car. We're asking 6,495 for it (OBO). I think that about covers my "few details", just let us know if anyone is interested. Thanks!!!
