little miss sass turns 2!

Brielle turned two on Sunday and although she has been acting like a 2 year old for a while -as far as the "terrible" part goes- she has been waiting until she can hold up her two fingers and show them off to everyone. We had Donuts that morning as they are a must on Birthdays! Nice bed head huh?

She was giving me thumbs up - she still gets confused about which finger is her thumb. Brooklyn did the same thing at her age...they always throw up the pointer finger instead of their thumb.

She's showing us she is TWO.

She spotted her cake.

I took her for her 2 year check up last week and the doctor was amazed that she was only two because her vocabulary is so huge. If she only knew my husband...that would explain a lot. She has so much personality and is full of sass! She cracks us up with the things she comes up. She frequently likes to go in the corner (on her own) and yell phrases out to us like "you not my friend anymore" or "I mad at you" or "you can't play with my toys" or "don't talk to me anymore" she then will proced to walk out of the corner, up to you, hug you and say "I love you lots too Mom". She rules the roost, loves to boss Brooklyn around which Brooklyn is fine with (thank goodness)! Some of her other favorites include going to the park and swinging the WHOLE time, going for walks, brushing her teeth, eating fruit snacks and if you ask her who her favorite friend is she'll say McKenna. She LOVES McKenna. She is a total night owl and she knows that if she stays quite while Brooklyn falls asleep I'll let her come cuddle with me. So she totally likes to work the system. We love her to pieces and are so happy she is a part of our family. She told me she wants to wear underwears and go potty on the toilet so that is our next job ahead...we'll see how that goes.
