Christmas 2008!
The month of December is always so crazy...but in a good way. I love this time of year, and it was so nice to be so close to everyone this year. We loved having ALL of our family in town from both sides, and as an added bonus - we were able to go out on lots of dates because we had plenty of willing babysitters (I loved that part!)
Leading up to Christmas was fun with the girls...I love the age that they are at and Brooklyn was really into the whole "Santa" thing this year - Brielle cracked me up everytime we saw Santa (which must have been 5 or 6 times) because she LOVED him. What 20 month old kid loves Santa??? Brooklyn hated him at that age but we finally figured out the reason why Brielle liked him so much was because he gave out candy canes...she is such a candyholic.
This year we went and saw Christmas lights, we took Brooklyn to a dinner theater and watched a Christmas show which she loved and there was a part where they brought all the kids on the stage and Brooklyn really wanted to tell Mrs. Claus something apparantly because she wouldn't stop tapping her - silly girl! We decorated ice cream cone christmas trees and made Reindeer sandwhiches on Christmas Eve with some firends...we had lots of fun!
This is the girls on Christmas Eve "acting"out the navity while we read from Luke at the Donaldson's. We had dinner over there then stopped by my Family's get together after that.
