My immediate family has a reunion every August, we just got back last night but we wish we were still there! We had fun with family and enjoyed the coastal breeze. My kids are going through withdrawals from not having every second be all about them. We went to the beach...a lot! We went out to eat...a lot. We went to the pool, played lots of Ticket to Ride and Canasta. We got spoiled at the Nail Spa by my Mom, and had babysitters whenever we wanted them. We had a girls night out an ate yummy Pinkberry and saw Mamma Mia (I was a little disappointed), the boys got to go to the Angel/Yankee game complete with a firework show afterwards. We all went to the Temple one day and we completed over 300 baptisms! It was really neat. My Dad is a convert and they were all family names. I was able to baptize my Granny Grace (who Brooklyn Grace is named after). She is my Dad's maternal grandmother. She died in her 90's about a year before Brooklyn was born. She lived in Texas but came out to visit a lot when we were growing up. It was really neat to be able to do that for her. We have a tradition of going to the temple every year together as a family, unfortunately this year the Newport Temple was closed for it's yearly cleaning so we went to the LA Temple. It was a little bit of a haul with all the traffic, but definitely still worth the trip.
The boys being crazy with Brielle - my brothers kept making up Raps about the girls and singing to them
Grammy with Brielle
I LOVE this picture of Mike and Brielle - I think it is so cute! I love her smile in this.
My poor Sister. The girls ADORE her in every way possible. The poor girl does not get a break from them the entire time. They literally hang all over her and fight over her. Must be hard being loved :)
Brooklyn flying her kite.
This little one was really happy at the beach...as long as she was no where near water.

Sounds like the perfect reunion: temple, family, food, and FUN!
I canNOT get over how much your whole gorgeous, tan family looks alike. Your mom looks like she could be your sister, your sister's a babe, and your brothers--- well does it even need to be said? What a gorgeous family, it's no wonder where you got those looks!
