Mike and I - as I'm sure many other people out there, have tried to watch as much of the Olympic games as we can. I recorded the night the girls gymnastics (my personal favorite) were competing in the all around finals. I got up the next morning to watch it and found myself totally crying after Nastia finished her floor routine and secured the gold. Then I got teary eyed again after Shawn finished hers. Then again when the medals were placed on them. What in the world came over me? The look of excitement, relief & accomplishment on the face of Nastia all at once, once she finished - I think is what got to me. I even saw Mike's eyes get a little more moisture in them during Michael Phelps last swim - he won't admit it...but I'm pretty sure it was there. It's so fun to watch and support our country during these games - I love it! Go USA.

Olympics

I love watching the olympics every four years. Just to think that we are watching the top athletes in the world and to see them setting new world records. Gymnastics and swimming have been my favorite sports to watch for sure.
we love the olympics here, too! it's been so fun to watch them. phelps is amazing. and the gymnastics is great as always. that is so great about kristina and a boy. i bet they are excited!
Chloe is so in love with Shawn Johnson that we had tape footage of her, and Chloe has been watching that instead of cartoons. =)
Kim, please tell Mike I say "Happy Birthday" all the way from Austin, TX. Hope things are going well for you all in Cali!
