I forgot my camera!

Sunday, the girls and I left with some friends to ditch the heat and bask in the 78 degree beach weather sun ( I know those who can relate are drooling at the thought). We made it to the condo...unfortunately with Brielle screaming in the backseat the entire ride (minus the 20 minute nap she managed to squeeze in before we had to stop because Brooklyn had to go potty -ugh). We are still here and loving the windows being open with the fresh breeze blowing the drapes back and forth. I forgot how enjoyable summertime can actually be - you don't have to make a dash to and from the car into the next air conditioned building before needing a shower because you are sweating so bad. We have been swimming everyday, gone to fashion Island (I won't go into too much detail but Brooklyn got stuck in an elevator by herself...luckily Tabitha was there with me and it turned out alright. When the doors opened the poor girl was sitting Indian style in the middle of the elevator with her hands over her ears crying. That taught her real quickly to stop running into elevators without me!) By the way...Pinkberry's is at Fashion Island and after hearing about it for so long without ever stopping to try it...we gave in! The yogurt itself...really yummy. They only have 3 flavors: regular, green tea and coffee. So, I went with regular and got talked into trying the mochi (is that right) as a topping. They told me it was a rice cake topping - it's their signature thing. Not my favorite. It's really gummy - it's okay, it wasn't disgusting or anything but after hearing how good it was, I was a little let down. It might of been the texture. I am a real texture person. Anyway, we went to the beach and collected sea shells, went to the much talked about Beachcomber (the breakfast is supposedly phenomenal, we still want to try breakfast but we went there for lunch. Really good!) And the girls are napping away while I sit outside on the computer getting some sun on my legs. Life is great. And all this with no pictures to show for it. Cannot believe I forgot the camera! This seems to happen to me more often than not. I need to get it together. Mike is meeting us here today, let's hope for the next half of the trip we will have something to show!
