Dear sweet Brielle,
Will you please just go to bed at night without a fight? I know you try to keep your sister up with you for as long as you can as well, but she just can't help herself. She falls asleep the minute her head hits the pillow (way to go Brooklyn). Why don't you do that? Instead, you lay awake and bring all the babies, doggies and books you can find into your sisters bed with you. After about an hour of that you usually walk to the door of your room to yell for me and then you proceed to say "I seep witch you mommy? Peas! Come on, mommy's bed. I seep witch you mommy, otay? otay?" Then when I walk you back to your bed you usually cry for your bb and then I usually lay down with you for a few minutes to try and get you sleepy, but usually that doesn't work. You usually just point to each and every thing on my face and name them including my freckles which you usually call "owies". 11:00 pm is just too late to be up for a little girl who isn't even two. Why don't you fall asleep at 8:00 pm like your sister? 11pm-7am with an hour and a half afternoon nap is just not enough for a little girl like yourself. Please try going to bed when we put you there for the first time tonight okay? It would be much appreciated.
Thanks - We love you!

Kim, your blog is so stylish. You have to teach me your skills. Anyhow, Steve and I are living at the Youngs while they are on their mission. I heard your in Fontana. Let me know when you are in town and maybe we could take the girls to the park or something. Love Tricia
Face it: you have a night owl. She probably always will be. But she is cute. Or maybe that is just because she is not keeping ME awake.
It must make us stronger--- dealing with sleep issues in our kids. Because they are obviously just part of the plan. Sometimes they change, sometimes there's a good stretch, but they always come back. Uggh--- I like my kid-free night time. Good luck!
