Nothing too exciting lately...

The girls had Bronchitis last week, so we didn't do too much in order to get them healthy again. Brooklyn seemed to get over it a little faster than Brielle - poor thing :( I knew Brooklyn wouldn't be able to get through the first month of preschool without catching something and then passing it along. It had to start somethime though, right? We had a babysitter last night that the girls absolutely LOVED. Brielle is very picky about who she likes and who she doesn't like. It seems like we haven't been able to leave her with a babysitter without her crying atleast half of the time. We left them last night and I knew she would have a hard time because she was really tired, and had obviously woken up on the wrong side of the bed (or crib) after her last nap. Much to our surprise she did great, and I came home to a house just as clean as I had left it , with the table cleared from dinner, and toys picked up. It was great! Brooklyn has been LOVING the piano lately, and sits down to play just about everyday. She sings every song imaginable and while it is very cute, sometimes it does drive me crazy.

It's a little blurry, which is another frustration of mine. For Christmas, we got a Sony Cybershot which we have had before and loved it, but this time around it has been a nightmare. Nothing is focused, the picture is horrible, etc., etc. I am about to throw it in the trash.

The other day, Brooklyn says "Mom, Brielle was hungry so I gave her some cheerios" this is what "some" cheerios looked like.

This has been a lifesaver for me. Both of my children have loved this. It enables me to shower without her getting into things while I can't stop her, clean safely, and do lots of necesary chores. It is especially nice when you need to sweep or mop so they don't follow you trying to eat the piles of dirt, or slip while you mop. I love it. Oh, and also I'll hook it up to Brooklyn's doorway if she is playing with something that is too small for Brielle to be around that way Brielle feels like she is still part of the fun but can't choke on anything ( I know all children put things in their mouth but Brielle is to the extreme. Definately worse than Brooklyn was. EVERYTHING goes into her mouth EVERYTHING!)

You kids are adorable. I especially love the cheerio pic. On one hand you see the mess and your like AHHH, but then ya kinda melt when they say they were trying to help their younger sibling. Kids are so cute!

OK, the jumping is too cute. I love it. Your kids are darling. Sorry we didn't watch your kids for you, but it sounds like you found someone nice? It's good to have that couple time and be away from the kids and then you miss them and don't take them for granted :)

My sister just gave me her jumparoo for the new baby and I have never seen one like this it has it's own stand like a swing. We will have to see if it works as well as it does for you. I start to think of all the challenges two bring and I have to stop myself before I have a panic attack. You seem to be doing great though so there is hope.

I have got to get one of those bouncers! I always hear about them but never got one with Sophia. Don't throw your camera away-- maybe there's something wrong in the settings. I'm sure you were kidding but you never know-- kids can do crazy things to us. :)
