Five.

On Sunday, Brooklyn turned 5! She pretty much partied all weekend, and couldn't have asked for a better birthday...in my opinion.

Friday, my Mom picked her up & took her out to lunch, shopping and yogurt. They were gone for 6 hours and Brooklyn asked her on the way home "Grammy, why are you yawning...are we done shopping already?" She came home with five (yes, FIVE) pairs of shoes (she loves shoes, can you tell?), the pony she had been dying for with it's accessories, and the Princess and the Frog DVD. She even got to hang her head out of the window on the way home. She was very excited about that one.
Saturday was her par-tay. She wanted a "cooking party" so that's what we did. The kids made their own pizza's and made their own ice cream. They played the candy bar game, ate their pizza, cake/ice cream, opened presents then went outside and played for the last few minutes. Her friends nailed it on the head as far as presents go...she got every single thing she had asked me for...from her friends. They must know her well!

On her "real" birthday, we had family come over. She was spoiled by everyone and loved every minute of attention that she got.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn!
