Football {sigh}

There has been lots of football on these days & Mike is in heaven. He has already traveled across the country for a game, and has been a loyal BYU fan as well as USC and pretty much any good game that is on. His favorite is when two really good games are on because then he pauses them & swaps between them so he skips commercials...I guess there is a method to his madness and now he has the system down pat! He also has his fantasy football team so he has to of course watch the pro games too just to "make sure" one of his guys doesn't get hurt. Oh man, and I'm not done there. Daniel is playing too, which means most Friday nights we go watch football. I actually really look forward to Daniel's games. He's QB so he is in a lot of the plays and come on - it's my brother, so it's fun to cheer him on! They won their first game 31-28 and we even got to go without kids which means we didn't have to take 12 bathroom breaks...it was kind of nice :) He has so much support-which I am sure he loves! I think my parents whole ward (as well as some La Verne friends) were at the game sitting in our section...and speaking of ward, my Dad was released as Bishop on Sunday after serving for over 6 years. It was a really good Sacrament meeting and Pres. White thanked him for his service and had said that it was to his knowledge that he was the longest serving bishop in the history of the Stake. He talked about how he really thought the Lord had a plan for him when he was a young first round draft pick playing pro ball and that it was no accident he got injured because the Lord had greater things in store. You could really feel the Spirit and everyone was getting choked up, he went on but I'm sure I'll butcher what he said up. It was a great meeting and I'm glad we were able to go.

I have to leave one picture so....here's to football!!!
Baby Kess throwing the ball (my Mom sent me this one...she's a proud Mama!)

How crazy! I was trying to go to a "Bonita Game" and surprise my husband with a date to his home field. How fun that my Husbands High School is playing your brothers! :) And your brother is the quarter back?? AWESOME!!!!
