Where has June gone?

Let's see:
*The end of preschool
*Disneyland 4 times
*A million Laker games
*Swim lessons
*Friends
*Swimming
*Sea World
*Lots of movies
I'll post just a few highlights

We got passes...again. One day I took just these two. No strollers, no 2 year olds - thus no tantrums, it was nice. Brooklyn is tall enough for almost every single ride. This past month she went on: soarin' over california, splash mountain, space mountain, matterhorn and she can't get enough! Her favorite is splash mountain and is constantly begging to go back to ride on it. Thank goodness our pass is blocked out now. The last time we went was the last day before the passes were blocked out for the summer and the parks were full to capacity. It was way too crazy for me - the line to every ride was outrageous, although we totally got lucky and was able to go on the Toy Story ride without a wait. We happened to walk by as they were re-opening the ride after they were fixing something and we walked right on. I loved it! I wish Brielle would have shared her gun with me, I was dying to play the games but I guess so was she.

Mike just HAD to buy everyone Laker gear in preparation for the play-offs. This was a good month for him. He came home yesterday with the new hat and shirt that the players were wearing at he Laker parade. (BIG eye roll)

Brooklyn did REALLY well in swim lessons this year. Before we put her in, we knew she could stay afloat and could doggy swim very well...but would NOT put her head under water. Now, she will and will swim like a little fish and loves it. I'm debating putting her in the next level in a few weeks but the lesson is an hour long - I'm thinking she may get too tired. I don't know.

The after party after the last day of lessons...a little 21 choices never hurt anyone.

Last night we headed down to Temecula to hang out with the Christensen's who are in town. (They DROVE from Indiana - Brave, brave people with two kids) It's always fun to get together with old friends and it helps that they have kids that my kids like :) We swam, had a BBQ, jumped on the tramp & roasted smores. Thanks for having us over!
