We had a busy Halloween...but who doesn't? We started off by going to Mike's office to trick-or-treat which the girls loved (perfect for little one's - lots of candy with hardly no walking) then met up with friends and let the kids play at McDoanld's all dressed up in full costume apparal which they thought was so cool. Home for naps/Mom get food ready for the party we were going to later and then off t0 the Tibbitts to par-ty. Brielle refused to have any association with her heffalump costume after the last party, so we went with her being a cheerleader...easy enough. Then Brooklyn thought it wasn't fair that Brielle got to be two things for Halloween, so Brooklyn didn't want to be a mermaid anymore and went as the Fancy Nancy Ballerina (I think we made that one up) but...it worked with things we had in the dress-up box, so no harm done. The party was tons of fun - I was in charge of the face painting and while I am no artist the kids didn't seem to mind. I think we pushed it a little by going trick-or-treating after the party because all we heard was whining and crying that they didn't want to walk...where is our stroller...carry me...I'm so tired...I'm thirsty...and so on...maybe next year we'll just let them pass the candy out.

loving the clark kent costume. also- cute little pink cast! how's that going? i bet it's tough to keep clean.
I'm with you on thinking about a SMALL trunk or treat or some kind of gathering of candy, and then letting the kids pass out candy. Allie LOVED doing that (while I was trying to get her ready).
Hi Kim this is Audry I just found you blog. I can't believe how big you "baby" has gotten. Both your girls look so cute in their halloween costumes. Just wanted to say hi.
