The first day at sea, Mike won this beautiful ship on a stick for participating in a little gameshow...go babe!
We loved the towel animals they laid out on our bed everynight. I figured we'd spare eveyone posting the different animal from every night. You get the point, right?
Gosh, I wish I would have posted a bigger picture of this...all the fancy food at the midnight buffet...yum!
Beautiful Ensenda - we had plans to go snorkeling here, but there was a red tide so we just shopped and walked around...we had fun!
In case we didn't know, this huge Mexican flag - it really was huge - reminded us where we were:) and to reminded us to not drink the water.
Us in Cabo San Lucas - yes this is the day I got fried.
Mike Parasailing - I made him go first because the girl that went before us said there were lots of sharks in the water below.
Me Parasailing - Mike assured me that there were no sharks, so I enjoyed the ride and when I got back on the boat he said "so did you see all the sharks?" apparantly there were about 30 hammerhead sharks in this one area of the ocean and he said it was very obvious, but I wasn't even on the lookout because he lied to me about seeing sharks because he knew that if I knew there were sharks I wouldn't go just "in case" I landed in the water. I've only recently started having this phobia of sharks. I think I've watched too many "shark weeks" on the discovry channel in the summers past.
Us eating lunch at a really good little place called "the office". We had heard about this place from a few different people. I was really good!
On the beach...really, what could be better? The water felt really good too!
Those were just a few of the highlights while we were gone. The people on the ship were interesting. There were a group of a bout 200 swingers (not the dancing kind) that were in the disco every night...interesting. They all wore pink bracelets so you could tell who they were. Mike's favorite part was the 24/7 Ice cream machine, and mine was the pasta bar they had every night with the yummy pesto sauce. Carbs don't count on vacation, right? All in all I was pretty impressed that I only gained 2 lbs. because all I ate was bread, pasta, dessert, etc., and it all seemed to be late at night. For those of you looking into a cruise, we had fun and would recommend it.

How seriously fun. That food......oh my goodness....I don't think I would have ever left the buffet table! Kudos to you guys for sneaking away for some alone time.
So fun! It looks like you left your girls at home?? I'll be needing a break like that pretty soon...
How brave of you to even go up after you heard there were sharks. I would be like have fun I'll watch! It's great to get away every now and then. Good for you! By the way you did a great job on your talk on Sunday. It was about music right!?!
That looks so fun!!! You and Mike look like teenagers. I guess I'm just feeling old since I had a birthday yesterday :) I have yet to experience a cruise, but I've never heard a bad thing (unless you count the Titanic) I hope to go one day! The food looks amazing!
how fun! i love cruises! i went to ensenada when I was in college, with a bunch of friends, and i swear we spent like half an hour looking at the HUGE flag trying to figure out just how big it was.
