My baby is getting too big!
Brooklyn's first day of Preschool was on Tuesday. She LOVED it! I'm not sure that I was ready to have her go already, but she was sure that she was ready to go. She had been asking for so long to go to school, and I finally gave in because I knew that she was more than ready. I was so nervous to leave her the first day, and as I was walking out the door I kind of peaked my head around to make sure she was OK and feeling comfortable - sure enough I catch a glimpse of her fighting over a toy with a boy who was at least a whole head taller than she was. I was shaking my head as I walked out thinking I'm not sure why I was worrying, apparently she can hold her own...I should probably worry about the other kids in her class instead. The Teachers said she was great though, and listened to directions (which I was also worried about, because she likes to do her own thing) and had no problem going to the bathroom. Phew. So now, she is officially a preschool going girl!

yea!! This is going to be the greatest thing for both of you. It is crazy to know you have a kid that is old enough to send to school. Just wait till you go to a school program with the video cam. that is when it gets really weird.
Letting them do things for the first time is so hard, especially when you're not there too see them. I bet she loved it. She looks so cute for her first day of school.
Oh Kim, she looks absolutely adorable. And, so proud of herself. They do grow up too fast though.
she looks so cute! i'm getting so sad for elle to go to kindergarten next year. i used to think that the day would never come, but now that it's so close, i'm feeling sad about it. so i know the feeling.
got your comment on the bumbo...that is what we have, but she doesnt seem to like it. she just wants to wiggle out of it!

So glad she is loving school! She looks so cute in those pictures (and so excited)! Love them.
Isn't crazy how fast they grow up. They are both sooo cute.
